Create your own place on the web with our Internet site construction classes. E-VO has a strong desire to help children in local schools to learn about the Internet and create their own places in this exciting new world. These students will that use live and work on the outgrowth of the Internet. It is essential that they gain these skills to enable them to gain a foot up on challenging their future. Current projects: Ongoing instruction to Intermediate school classes at Hutt Intermediate school. Each 5 weeks another group of 11 and 12 year olds learns to create their own home pages complete with the Simpsons, Spice Girls and wrestling pictures. It is interesting to see their choices of topics and see how fast they catch on. They easily take on the programing and are always pushing the envelope for new areas such as sound and animation.Teen girls at Sacred Heart College are also learning HTML programming to enable them to help maintain the School intranet pages and help Publish eC.H.I.C. E-Zeen for Teens. It is rewarding to see girls embrace technologies. They seem to thrive in a girls only tech environment where the boys aren't taking it over from them. They seem to have an innate sense of style and are easily learning the programming techniques.

Teachers and educational management may need a softer touch learning the
ropes of the digital world. These professionals generally do not have
the time to devote to technology with all the many things on their schedules
and have a hard time seeing where their time and efforts will get them
or their students. Our small classes offer relevant instruction that allow
teachers to incorporate digital technologies into their preexisting lesson
plans. Teachers do not have to be the experts in technology just mentors
that encourage use of both traditional and current digital technologies
. Our real life examples help to demystify the Internet and make the premier
resource tool that it is.
